Free account Β· Sheet copy on this page
Your year in Google Sheets, wrapped. Like Spotify Wrapped, but for the sheets you built.
Make a copy, open the π Sheets Wrapped menu, and a script in your own Google account builds your year in review. A new tab fills with your numbers, a line under each one saying what it means, and your persona.
What it counts
- Hours in Google Sheets, estimated from your save history
- Sheets you created, edited and only looked at
- Sittings, days active, and your longest sitting
- Your first, latest and biggest sheet of the year
- The oldest sheet you still edit
- How many are still "Untitled", and how many start with "Copy of"
- The words you use most in your titles
- Collaborators, the companies they're from, and other people's sheets you edited
- Sheets open to anyone with the link
- Your Sheets buddies
- Your busiest month, day and hour
- Cells edited (a fun estimate, and it says so)
Which one are you?
Early Bird, Night Owl, Template Collector, Weekend Warrior, Helper, Connector, Lone Wolf, Builder or Steady Hand. You get one, with the number that earned it.
My year
I ran it on my own 2026. I'm The Early Bird: 31% of my activity happened before 9am. About 229 hours in Sheets. 451 sheets created, 520 edited, 770 touched, on 157 different days. 35 are still called "Untitled". The oldest sheet I still edit was made in November 2021. And 386 of my sheets are open to anyone with the link. That one was worth knowing.
Wrap more than Sheets
The same menu has more:
- Docs Wrapped and Slides Wrapped
- Gmail Wrapped: emails sent and received, who you email most, who you hear from most, your busiest hour. It only reads From, To, Cc and the date. Never the email itself.
- Calendar Wrapped: hours in meetings, focus time, meeting buddies, and a persona. Mine: 138 hours in meetings. I'm The Host, I sent the invite for 81 of my 85 meetings.
- Your whole Google Drive at once
- Catch up on 2025
Set it now, open it in December
Pick December 1, December 15, December 31, January 1, or your own date and time. On that day it runs on its own, fills in the sheet and emails you "Your Sheets Wrapped". Or run it now to peek. Reset clears all your results whenever you want a fresh start.
Read-only. Your data stays with you.
Sheets Wrapped never edits, moves, sends, deletes or archives anything in your Drive, Gmail or Calendar. It writes only into your own copy of the spreadsheet. Nothing leaves your Google account, and nothing is sent to Better Sheets. The one email it sends is your Wrapped, to you.
For Drive it sees file names, dates, types and who files are shared with. It can't open what's inside them. For Calendar it sees event titles, times and guests.
The first time you run it, Google's permission screen says things like "view your email messages". That sounds like a lot. It's because these are the narrowest read-only permissions Google offers. There's no "just count my emails" option. The code is right there in Extensions > Apps Script, with comments, so you can read every line before you say yes.
Looked back? Now plan next year.
