Each shortcut is super useful for everyday use of Google Sheets, and you'll be surprised at how much faster and efficient you can become just by using these shortcuts.

How to Play the Game?
To play the game, you simply need to make a copy of our Escape Spreadsheet Hell Google Sheet. Get it free via Gumroad.

The game is designed to be self-explanatory, so you'll be able to start playing right away. You'll see three different levels with different challenges and instructions. The game is optimized for desktop use. You cannot play it on your phone even if you have the Google Sheets app installed. Unless you have an external keyboard set up to your phone. And even then I don't think it's that useful. Not sure if the android version of Sheets has the same keyboard shortcuts as the Mac Desktop, online version has.

Can I modify the game or create my own levels?
Sure, if you want. You can modify the game or create your own levels. Just make a copy of the Google Sheet and start editing! If you do add more levels, let me know. I'm happy to share with members what other members are doing.

Can I share the game with others?
Yes, you can share the game with anyone you like. Just share the link to the Google Sheet in your own google drive. Or give them a link to sign up and get it here. It's free to use, and free to share. Hope you learn something from it.

How long does it take to complete the game?
The game is designed to be completed in about 5-15 minutes, but it may take longer depending on your skill level and if you don't type so fast. It can be a little daunting to learn a knew muscle set of keyboard strokes. But don't worry. You'll get it in no time. And overall your speed in sheets will increase.
