How To Export Your Beautiful Sheets to PDF

<div> Hey, welcome. This video, I'm just gonna talk about exporting to pdf . So sometimes we want to share some information or some type of data with people. And this is, this might be what you think of when you think of Google Sheets, right? You think of this and you think of downloading, and we're gonna say pdf , right? And this is what it looks like, right? It looks. Pretty darn like a spreadsheet . And you can print this out as a, as a pdf . Sure. You have some options over here. Like you have very, a lot of different paper sizes, margins . You can even do normal, narrow wide.

You can do custom numbers Here you have some formatting . , you can actually, the, the grid lines were already on there so you can't even get 'em off. Or sorry, they were added on top of the normal grid lines. You can even show notes if you wanna append it. You can, you have a lot of like headers and footers here. You can add really interesting stuff like current date time all this type of stuff. But then, You really are exporting whatever is in your sheet. So if we design our sheet better maybe like this, like a, and we say, okay, let's see. File, download pdf .

Now it looks like this, right? We we can do fit to width , fit to height . We can change how it goes. We can delete all of the, let's do this. Let's delete all of these. Let's delete all of this. All these rows, and this is gonna be our information, but we don't want any let's tick off the grid lines, so that looks a little bit better. Let's go to view grid lines. That looks nice. Now file download is a pdf and again, we have sort of a nicer version of that, but still has all the colors, has all what we fit to height . We fit to width . We can do all sorts of formatting here.

, but we can also do better. We can go like, let's go. Oh, this is actually the wrong one. Let's go to this design. We can have a nice big banner. I, all I did here was I did file.  Or sorry, insert image . Image into cell. And this is a banner image and it could be anything. It could have the background white with a round image here if you wanted to show a little bit something else other than squares and and rectangles. And then here's some different items, like if you wanna put stats in here or something. But they're all squares, right?

Something different than a normal spreadsheet . And they're all spaced as well. So this is like a really nice design. And if we go download pdf ,  Now that looks nice, right? And we can also make it portrait and it cuts it off a little. Maybe we can go back here and say let's do this. Let's just cut off delete column and let's add insert, right? I'm gonna add just that to there. I'm gonna make put this image all together. Let's see if that looks a little bit better. Download pdf . Yeah. And that looks cool. That is a portrait size image . We can add more down here.

Looks like we can add, let's do, let's add 10 rows. Let's just copy and paste this a couple times. Let's go here. Let's do that again. Yeah, let's keep it like that and we'll just delete those rows and then file download as a pdf .  No, that's cool, right? We have maybe some totals down here or some other information, some extra information, but like this is a pretty darn cool print off that we can do directly from Google Sheets. We don't need to go anywhere else. We don't have to export this to anywhere.

And it's a pretty well designed, we can insert information in, we can even insert data into another sheet and then have this, aggregate that data for us and print off a really nice pdf . Cool. Enjoy.</div>
