So let's start with the anatomy of a single spreadsheet . You're going to find when you start Google sheets or you create a Google sheet that there may be some thing from Google on the right side.

We can see a little form field here that says add 1,000 more rows at the bottom. We can select that and say, actually, I just want 21 more rows.

What's interesting about a spreadsheet is that the intersection of every row and column is a cell.

And this is called a range . It's a collection of cells .

And I want to share with you probably one of the biggest amazing parts of spreadsheets and it's called formulas.

So, we have something called a formula which we can just type in here and we're going to use sum.
