So, you want to download a cell in a Google sheet, but you want to do it very quickly. Meaning, we have like, for example, we have a summary of all of our invoice data in these cells in one cell, and we just want to create a PDF that only has this information. So, one way we can do this, right, which is fairly slow, is file, download as a PDF . And what we're going to have to do is select selected cells in our export . We can change the paper size and all of this and we can fit the page and we can do all the formatting we want and we can export it, right? And this may take a few steps, but there is a little bit of a trick where we can use a URL, click it, and it will immediately download a a

PDF . However, we need to format that URL very specifically. So, over at betterheets.co/ pdf , co/ pdf you can enter a Google sheet URL and then select these options and you can get your URL that this URL will download a spreadsheet immediately when you use this URL. So go and check it out. It's actually really cool. However, there's no options here yet. Uh I may end up changing this in the near future, but you can actually select a range . So let's do that. I want to show you how this works with a real URL. We are going to let's say we put another column here and we say click to download and we're going to create a

hyperlink with our sheet URL. So this is the URL of the sheet that I'm on. This has docs.google.com/ spreadsheet /dedit question mark and then a GD. And it actually usually has this G now twice for some reason Google started doing that. But we only need one instance of this G. We need a very specific spot. What we need to do and what bettershets.co/ pdf does is it adds this little bit slashexport. So let's go. I clicked it and I I'm exporting it. So, right after I don't know if you can see this, right after the slashedit or actually, sorry, instead of slashedit, we're going to do slashexport. And then we're going to say

format equals PDF . And you can see these right here. Okay, we're going to also do and and I'm doing this right before the GD [snorts] because we do need this G. G is just the very specific tabs reference like in this entire spreadsheet file. I want to add one more thing which is at and range . Now the trick here is that we need to do a little bit of interpolation let's say because we want to copy paste this down A2 A3 A4 A5. So what I need to do is add an amperand A close and row. Actually I need B because we're in the A column but now we're looking at the B column. So B and whatever row we're in.

So let's close this hyperlink and see if this works. So it immediately downloads and we click on our download and it is exactly this cell and only this cell. Obviously we can add a bit more of the kind of what do you call it uh extra features like if we want to show grid lines or not show grid lines that is grid lines equals false. So we just go into here. We can keep this range at the end and just right before that range add another amperand and go grid lines equals false. And let's see if we can copy this, copy paste this down each one. And all we have to do is click on the URL or just put it into a new tab

and it will immediately download. Like we can just download a few of these. So this is a URL next to our cell that we want to download and it's immediately downloadable. See now we have no grid lines and and this is all with a URL. This is sort of a fun trick to download usually a whole sheet. But in this particular case we're just downloading the cell that's next to it. Right? And if we want to do a different column we just do C. If we want to edit this row number maybe we want to do it the row under it. So we just do or above it. We do row minus one to go above and row + one to go down. There you go. You can download this cell as quickly as possible because we don't need to go

through all of the functions or features of download as a PDF . This is going to download that PDF immediately when you click it. Every time I click, it's just going to open a tab. Download and close that tab. And I can go to the next one. Download. Bam.
