What is card group in Google Sheets?

Card Group is part of the Timeline view in Google Sheets, where tasks or events appear as cards on a date axis. Timeline vocabulary covers card fields, intervals, and how collapsed groups display.

When to use it

Use Timeline view when a project plan or schedule reads clearer as dated cards than as a flat grid.

When to skip it

Skip Timeline when a Gantt-style chart or simple date-sorted table is enough for the audience.
