Hello. I wanted to share this really cool little thing that I discovered on Twitter actually from my friend James Ivans over on Twitter. He said that Google has this secret, a p i, that you can use to show any website's icon, your site. And he had this U R L here. Well, I tried it in Google Sheets and it works.

So this is a really cool, very simple way to add an icon of any website to your Google Sheets. It adds a visual flare, adds a visual element. You can use it in a lot of different things, maybe for some Instead of using something like Clearbit to grab icons of sales teams or sales prospects, you can use it to design really cool, funky visual elements for your sort of information.

If you want, if you're sharing information, you can create your own social profiles here, links to. Really, really interesting stuff. I'm gonna share this with you right now. If you are watching this video anywhere, if you're watching it as a Better Sheets member, go to the description. You have a link to this sheet.

If you are watching this on YouTube, you get a link in the description as well. All better Sheets members get. Links to every sheet that I ever talk about in any video. So if you're watching on YouTube and there's another video that you're like, I wish I had access to that, become a Better Sheets member now.

But here's the The url. Url, it's just H sheet https s two.google user content.com/s two slash favas. Question mark domain. And then what I'm doing here is I'm adding the domain of any web website and adding the size of 32. You can change this to like 10 or something. Let's see what does that does. But what is really gonna be bounded by is this this, the height of this row here.

So if we increase the height of this row, it will increase this si the size. Icon, but we can do this and see it all is the same, very similar. Even if we do 100, your size doesn't really matter here because it's gonna be bounded by the size of the cell. So I haven't done anything to that. I've just inserted this domain.

But you can also use this, it's just the image function or formula. . What I wanna show you too is that this works even if you just type in the domain. So we're just gonna go here instead of using this formatting this we're just gonna take out these quotes and put in better sheets.co and write.

There you get the icon. Oh. I forgot the s. Better sheets get the same exact icon if you just type in that domain there or if you put it in another cell, sometimes you might want to just get the image, sometimes you want to programmatically. We can also add, say a dropdown menu. And maybe this adds a really cool visual element to like, what did you select?

So we'll select this as a range. We'll hit okay. , I have to move my face.  made my face a little too big today. Okay. All right. So we have this dropdown menu, and I'm just gonna copy and paste this same formula here. And again, it's just gonna take this a 10, whatever is an A 10. It'll pop up here and you'll see how fast it goes.

So if I selected, say twitter.com, boom. It's there. If I select better sheets. There we go. And this logo changes and that adds a really cool little element. This icon just with a domain name. You can use this in a lot of different ways. If you are using this in your Google sheet. After you watch this, please share that with me.

Just email it to me. Des put it in the description not to you. Don't put it in the description, put it in the comments below. If you're using this, share your sheet with the world. Share your use case with the world. I'd really like to see how you use this. I think this is a really fun way to add a nice little, touch that icon to your domain name to your Google Sheet with just the domain name by.
