How to Use Smarket

About this Tutorial

This video covers how a user would use Smarket to list items to be sold and then unlist those items to be sold. It uses two different forms for the listing and the unlisting. The key connection is that you use a unique number, or a unique text when entering the item to be sold. Then use that item to delist it once it's been sold. Also you can wait 7 days, and the item will be unlisted.

Hi, I'm Andrew of Better sheets.co. I'm here to tell you how to use this sheet. This is Market to Marketplace and a Google Sheet. People can list items describe those items, list a price and a contact information. The people who are selling can also unlist them. And right now the way that this works is that it automatically enlists after seven days.

Here, let me show you how it works. So I just go to this form. And I'm gonna list name, description, price, and a contact. Okay, so I've listed two pairs of eyeglasses. These are prescription reading glasses for $120. Here's my contact information, Andrew plus better sheets@camiaapproved.com.

Here is how you will use this. You have to create an ID that is for unique for this item, what I suggest is actually going to this number generator and generating a nine digit random number that you'll just remember. So here's my number. 7 5 5 6 5 4 2 4 9. It's a random number that no one else will have.

I'll show you why you need to under have that and remember it. Okay? We immediately are listed. It has two pair of two pairs of glasses. Prescription ring here. If somebody contacts me I can unlist this how I unlist this. So if I don't have access to this sheet I need to be able to unlist it.

So here's how I unlist. So now I have to remember the ID that I have, no one else is gonna have access to that Id, it, it doesn't exist here on this sheet. It's on a different sheet if you wanna know. But I put the item in, I submit, and then I go back and it will take it off of the now it's not listed.

So let's go through that again. One more. So if I want to sell something, I can also put in any idea I want. If I know it's let's do, okay, so I'm listing five wooden chairs here for $45. I put in my contact information and I can honestly put in like anything maybe Andrew 45 chairs $45 chairs for five.

$5. Four. Five chairs. Anything that I can remember. Again, a no. A random number generator is gonna make it super easy here, but I can submit that. Go back to our marketplace.

And it's listed here, five wooden chairs. And if I want to, if I wait seven days, it'll automatically go off. You can change that. If you're using this, you can also check, take a look at how to make the sheet, and I go into how this sheet works and if I wanna sell this, all I have to do is submit there and it'll take it off.

Reformulates here almost instantaneously. And that's how you have buyers and sellers that don't have to enter any edit anything here. They just enter the information on, sell something. And sold. If you are copying this marketplace and you're using yourself your own forms, I would say create your own forms and then change these links cuz these links, once you copy the sheet, will go to my sheet forms.

But enjoy using s Market the marketplace in a Google sheet. Bye.
