So, you want to swap cells . I'm going to show you how to swap cells in a few different ways. I hope you enjoy this video. So, here we go. We have uh some IDs, some names, some ages. And we can tell they're swapped. They're reversed. They're not in the same place as they should be with all these names and all these ages. Now, I'm going to tell you the bad news. There's not a quick little way to do this. We can obviously click on the hand and drag. And now we have two cells to move. And we can do that without doing that hand movement. We can do command X and then go over to this E, commandV. And now we can do the same thing back,

but select both of these uh cells . And we can rightclick cut. and then click over here and click paste. We can also now click and drag this by the hand. So that's two ways, right? Using the keyboard and using the mouse to do that. However, you need this extra cell here or extra column or extra space and sometimes we don't have that. So how do we do this? If we literally just want to swap these two and don't want to edit anything else, don't want to put that text anywhere else. Now, of course, you you have like other programs you can copy and paste to and then figure it out there or you can open two sheets and you

can do but that's too much. What I'm going to do is doubleclick inside of this cell and cut. I'm going to double click inside of James Taylor here this and paste. And I did that with the keyboard, but you can also do that with the um mouse. And now I'm going to select James Taylor. Again, I double clicked into the cell. I'm going to command X, hit enter. And now the 60 is there. And in my clipboard, I can double click and paste. And see, so I've swapped those cells without moving anything else, without swapping columns, without moving the text to another cell. And I think that's a fairly elegant way to do this. I think here we have these

two Chris Williams Wilsons and these 31s here. We can just copy over the data because data isn't lost. But that doesn't happen very often. So again, I I want to show you again that we can go in here, cut, and then go into this cell, paste, and take this away. And of course, that's the wrong way, but we can copy and paste this over. Hopefully that's fun for you. Hopefully you found a little new little trick that you can copy and paste into the cell and cut out of the cell itself to swap those cells .
