Let's round some numbers. So an easy way to round numbers in Google Sheets is just to select the numbers you want to round and decrease those decimal places. Places here with this menu button, click a few times and we get two display a number . That's different than the actual number , but the actual number stays. So that's interesting. Right? But there is another way we can. Also use the round formula equals round, and we just have to select the value. So we can put a value here, 138.389. We can round to a certain number of places like two, and we can enter that, but we can also reference another cell. So let's take out that number and just put in this commission number. And now if I select the number of places I want to round to just one.

You see it is 10%, and let's round all of these and you can see the rounding pretty much to one. But let's look at equals round for this commission earn, which is not a percentage, it is just a number . We can do zero and it will round to zero places. But let's say we wanna round up or down we go equals round up, we can select that formula and select this. And now we have a, a formula that rounds up. Let's say we wanna round down equals round down is a formula . Again, we can use the same for. Cell here can autofill it and look, there is a big difference. We got 65 versus 64, 13 versus 12. And this is interesting to see, right?

Because we can see both what is rounding up and rounding down of the same exact cell.
