How to Remove Your Own Access to a Google Sheet

This video is to show you how to remove your own access to a Google sheet. Say you have been shared on a Google sheet, you don't want to deal with the Google sheet. You don't even want any in your shared drive. This is how to remove yourself. Go to the Google sheet, and up in the right top corner you'll see a share button shared with one person that is you. Click on that and next to your name or your email address, click on the editor . Word and then click remove access. You'll need to click save and it'll say Update permission. This will change your permission. You won't be able to share . Click yes, and it'll say you no longer have access. Now, after a moment it says Your access has expired. Reload the document to gain access. If you still don't have access, contact the document owner .
