In this video, I'm going to show you how to quickly add a status drop down chip . Status drop down chips are very helpful to keep your data all sanitized, meaning that we're going to validate our data , make sure We're applying the right text to the status column. Sometimes we add in progresses or we say complete and we mean completed. So how do we keep all of that data together? At the top of D2, we're just going to add an at symbol. We'll scroll down. We'll create a dropdown and we'll use this review status and we'll use project status. Project status gives us number of already built in text here, not started, blocked, in progress, completed. We can edit them over here. to whatever text we want. The one thing we will change is at the very top, add a colon D to make sure that we're getting the entire column . Hit enter or click done. And we can see the invalid one here.
In progresses should be in progress. Complete should be completed. That's how to add a quick status drop down ship or data validation to your sheet.
