Here's how to get a link to a range . You may want to create links like on a summary page to very specific sheets or ranges . So here we wanna put a link to sheet, one header . I want this entire row to be linked to. I can just select the row right click and go to view more row actions, then get linked to this range . Now, when I get the link to this range , I wanna show you something really cool. It is a link to the sheet. This is the exact same link to the sheet. Except it has a couple of extra things after this question. Mark has GID zero, which is the ID of the sheet or the tab, so every tab has a particular. GID or ID for that tab. The one we're on right at this moment is 1, 8, 7, blah, blah, blah. That's pretty cool, right? And so I can go to any range I, let's say F 10, right click, scroll down, view more cell actions get linked to this cell. And now it's copied and I can paste that and you can see the exact GID here ampersand range equals F 10. So I think this is pretty cool. You can get a link to a range , you can link to that in your sheet, or you can even send that to someone in an email and say, Hey, I need you to check on this particular dashboard , on this particular sheet, on this particular cell here. Go do it immediately. Uh, they don't have to find it and figure out what you're talking about. This is pretty cool. I think it really makes it awesome and useful to share very specific parts of sheets with very specific people.
