How to Create Automatic Leaderboard in Google Sheets

0:00 We have a bunch of scores from everybody here, but they're totally out of order. You're going to find out by the end of this video how to create an automatic leaderboard. So as long as there is a single column with the scores, we can sort this. And we can do this all in one formula , equals sort . We're going to select the range we want to sort . Our sort column will be 2 because it is the second column here, the scores. Now, ascending means it's going to go from 0 up. But we want from the highest number down, so we're going to say false for ascending. And here we have the highest score, second highest score, third highest score here. There's a tie here for third. But we have this automatic leaderboard. Now we can put this on another tab. So we can duplicate this. We'll rename this leaderboard. And we don't even need four columns. 0:46 And instead of this data we do equal sort . And the range is gonna be from this scores here, sort column, same two, false. And there we have our leaderboard and our scores. Our leaderboard is completely automatic. This will be updated as these scores are updated. Let's say, Bart gets 99, go back to our leaderboard, and Bart is in the lead.
