How To Change Cell Size In Google Sheets
Learn how to easily change the cell size in Google Sheets by adjusting row and column dimensions to create the perfect layout for your data.
Here's how to change the cell size of a cell in Google Sheets. Now a cell size is a function of row size and column size, our normal state of being is sort of this long, wide cell, and that's because we can go up to the A column click and. Resize column , and we can see that it is a hundred pixels wide. We can change this. Let's say 200 and click okay. Now we've doubled the width of the cell. Now over on the left side, on the row, right click and resize row , we can see that it's default set to fit to data . Let's specify a row height and let's make this 50 click. Okay. And now this cell size is a ratio of 200 pixels wide and 50 pixels high.
And we can do this for any number of cells . Just knowing that the column and the row size are what change our cell size. We can make these squares if we want. We can resize this row to 200 click okay, and we get a perfect square. Now in spreadsheet , squares do look weird, but they are needed at some times.
