We are gonna design this really sweet minimalist Christmas tree right here in this video. Stick around and watch the whole process. We will begin with a brand new sheet. I just went to sheet, do new and started it. A couple things I want to do to begin is set the row height and column width , so we'll resize the columns. We wanna do 25 and then the rows also to 25.

Now a Christmas tree needs to have be green, right? But it also needs to be a little bit brown. So what I wanna do is I want get the height here and let's pick a brown. It's a dark brown. We can always fix that later. We can also move it, let's say to here. You can move it anywhere you want. The very top.

Let's add a little bit of green so we have some options for green here. I'm not sure if they're exactly perfect. Let's try that green for now, and then I'm gonna just go down, skip a row, and then increase the width by one on each side. And this is gonna be a very simple, minimalist kind of tree, but you'll see how this ends up being really nice. Oh wait. Added one extra one there. And if you want to, before we do this, you can, add a red to your background. So instead of having to do it later, so let's do that and I'll do the Christmas tree again. Let's take this like, mm, let's take a lighter red.

We're gonna view show no grid lines, and I'm gonna do the brown once again, pop on that green. And again, we're just gonna put green, fill in green. One extra one, not two extra. And it becomes a really sweet little minimalist tree. And I want to add one thing and delete one thing, the very top brown. I wanna delete that and I want to add. Right here, an emoji. So control command space. Let's put a star right at the top of there. And we need to center this star and also make it way bigger. Let's see what 20 does. 20 is too much or is it not enough there? 14 is nice. We can make it a little bit bigger and I think we just need to text wrap .

No, that should be fine. Can just make it just fit a little bit in there. If we wanna make it bigger, what we can do is merge these cells and drop down to the bottom. And now let's add a bigger star there. So that's a little trick there to merge the ones around it so it doesn't cut off. And let's do one extra thing on the bottom, which is extend this tree a little bit and put some presents under the tree. Let's put a big box here, do light green. And in order to get a box, we're going to add a border of. Let's do this dark red. We need it thicker and do on the right and then select here and do it on the bottom. Make a nice little box.
