I wanna enter the year here, so it's 2025, but I wanna actually automate it so that I don't have to change this when the year rolls over. And we have an interesting formula called today, which gives us today's date, and it includes the gear. How do we get just the year? Well, we go over here and we wrap year around today, and this automates the entire year, and this will change every single day, but obviously every day the year doesn't change. So when the year changes eventually, right? Going from December 31st to January 1st, this will update automatically, and that's how you automate the year in Google Sheets.
