What is trendline in Google Sheets?
Trendline is chart or visual vocabulary in Google Sheets: chart types, axes, legends, sparklines, and publish options. Good charts make trends obvious without hiding the source range.
When to use it
Use chart terms when building dashboards, choosing chart types, or embedding visuals elsewhere.
When to skip it
Skip fancy chart types when a simple bar or line chart already answers the question.
