2025 Year in Review in Review

251 real 2025 year in review posts: AI researchers, banks, Spotify-style Wrapped recaps, indie hackers, families, lawyers and doctors. Each one checked, with what makes it different.

Every December people publish a look back at their year. AI researchers, database experts, banks, a small city, quilters, lawyers, runners, solo founders. I went looking for as many different kinds as I could find, opened every one, and wrote a line on what makes it different.

There are 251 here, in five groups and 20 smaller categories. 117 of them are part of a yearly series, so where the same person or company did one in earlier years, I linked those too.

If you want to write your own, Big Year is a free one-page year calendar for Google Sheets. Set it to 2025 or 2026 and mark what happened, month by month. And if you want the step by step, here’s how 199 people review their year.
