0:00 In this video, I'm going to share with you an idea of how to create sheets to sell, but also, I'm going to give you a tool, a free tool here, a bookmarklet, and what is a bookmarklet?
0:11 So, let me show you my bookmark bar, you're going to see some other stuff here. What is it? Uh. There it is, and so you see this plus company up here.
0:19 What this does is it's a button I have created that allows me to take any website anywhere, take the title and the URL automatically and put it into a Google form.
0:28 Why do we do this? Well, I was, I was uh creating, curating a newsletter for a couple and a half years, two and a half years, and I would read about a hundred articles a week about, this was about influencer marketing industry, and out of the hundred I'd say about ten to twenty were very interesting 
0:45 and useful to me, and so what I would do is I'd curate those. and then I'd put them into a newsletter.
0:50 Well to curate them, all I had to do was click this button, and usually you have to copy paste, you have to keep a file somewhere, you have to write some notes, and this is what I would do.
0:58 So I would have an, what this does is it allows you to immediately get the title and the URL with one click into a Google form and then add some context.
1:10 So this appears in a Google Sheet tool that I call Better Letters, which is a curator suite of sheets to curate a newsletter, but again, you're going to get this for free, you get this for this exact sheet here, so let's make a copy and I will show you how to uhm set it up.
1:25 So I'm going to create a copy and I'll show you how to use it as well. But something like if we found, uh, just go to, uh.
1:36 Let's go somewhere. So for example, maybe we want to curate all the special offers from universities across the United States.
1:43 We have this special offers URL. Every URL is going to be unique usc.edu special offers. And I want to click this button and it's going to grab the title and URL.
1:52 So I don't have to copy that in. But let's create this university deals. We're going to call this unis. That's just what we want to call the form tab.
2:05 We're going to go up to custom functions, create form and booklets. Bookmarklet. Again, this is just what you're going to have to do when you set this up.
2:12 Authorize it. Step through this process. You're going to copy it to your Google Drive and then do this. Uhm. We're going to need to do that again.
2:22 Run that. Script. And it will create a form here down below called Unis because we typed it in B2. Here's the Google Sheet, uh the Bookmarklet code.
2:33 Click OK if you don't want to copy it from there. It'll be here in this B2. And all we have to do is we can take actually any URL, so I'm going to just take this URL, drag it over to this bookmark bar, right click, edit, and we're going to name this plus uni, and in the URL we're going to delete everything
2:55 . We're going to Command A, delete. Delete everything, paste that javascript bookmarklet code, and so at the very beginning it'll say javascript colon, and then it'll have all this code here for you.
3:06 Click save, and now, when I'm on this USC site, and I click uni up here. Let's see, it automatically grabs special offers USC, it grabs a URL, and now I can add some notes, so I created three fields here, you can always add more if you wish, but I'm going to add some notes here, alumni Thank you. deals
3:30 . Just a little note, let's hit submit, and now in my form responses, I have this here, so now I can go to any website, uh alumni deals.

4:00 Hit submit, and now over here I have that as well. So this makes curation super easy, and I think anyone can create a curated list in a Google Sheet with this tool.
4:10 You can create a resource, a document, a directory, all types of stuff. Now, when you're curating stuff you're probably going to put it all into here, this form responses, but I think one way to make a really great sellable sheet is to add context, but also make filtered views.
