You want to highlight timestamps or any dates that are this month. We're going to use format , conditional formatting , and we're going to apply to the range . Let's use the entire range , A colon A. Our format rules is going to be custom formula . We're going to use a really interesting little formula here called month to know what is the month of this date or timestamp . And we're looking at A1 and we're saying, Hey, Look at all these months. Is it equal to month of today? And if it's equal, those two things are equal, then highlight it. And that's it. Every month of today is going to be a number between 1 and 12. Inclusive 1 and 12. And so, we don't need to do any more adornment to this formula. It's going to work as is.
